Evening Bags in Fashion

Although Giant bags are in fashion for normal every day use, for the evenings it is quite the opposite and the bags are very small and usually take the form of a clutch bag which has no straps or handles and is just held in the hand.

Contrary to what a woman needs to put in her handbag during a long day away from her home, when it comes to going out in the evening to presumably relax and have a good time she is not going to need to put very much in her bag except the house door keys, some tissues and maybe a lipstick, so this time the bag she chooses to wear need not be so functional but instead an eye catching piece which enhances the evening clothes that she is wearing.

Here are a few ideas on the types of evening bags that you could choose from depending on what type of outfit you were wearing:

A gold broken mirror clutch bag formed in the shape of a nonagon would be very striking as the mirrors would reflect the light in all directions. This would be a very original piece.

A must for a very elegant evening has to be a rectangular shaped clutch bag covered in Swarovski crystals that just opens and closes with a click.

The very classical black square clutch bag covered in black satin with a diamante brooch on the opening flap.

And maybe for less formal evenings, a rectangular box shaped clutch bag made out of patent leather imitating crocodile skin. This is a firm favourite as it is very easy to wear and doesn’t look over the top in any occasion.

But which ever you choose, just remember to keep them small and the more original that you can find the better.
