Dressing all in one colour
Apart for the times when you wear a plain dress which is all in one colour, the rest of the time you mix and match the colours of the items that make up your outfit and this is perfectly fine but there are times when you can’t think of what goes with what and on top of it all you are in a hurry, so what can you do? Well you can opt to dress all in one colour as this solves the problem and you can’t go wrong here at all as a navy blue pair of trousers certainly goes with a navy blue jumper!
The only thing is that when you dress like this you have to liven up the outfit with one or two striking or at least colourful accessories or else it could all appear just too dull.
To do this begin with thinking about what sort of footwear or bag you are going to wear with this outfit, maybe you have a pair of red boots with a large red bag and just by adding those two items will have been enough to do the trick.
Still using the navy trousers as an example, try putting on several Chanel type silver chains, dangly ear-rings and a silver belt and again you will see a huge difference in the appearance of the outfit.
A floral silk scarf with the colours cerise, emerald and white could be worn loosely round your neck with a cerise clutch bag or even a cerise or emerald waist coat.
It’s really just a question of adding notes of colour and points of interest so that you are not just looking at a mass of colour in navy blue because admittedly then it could look a bit boring.
